We had a great start to the year !!  We started  with our Religion Unit. Our topic was festivals and we talked about Ganesh Chaturthi and why we pray to Lord Ganesha. We enjoyed the story on how Ganesha got his elephant head  and we also talked about how Ganesha ended up with mouse as his vehicle. We then talked about Lord Ganesha's favorite food and also learnt about how Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in homes and in India. We ended  the class with two short videos on Ganesha
